The Boat
Serenity is an Amel 55, a state of the art sailing yacht, designed for blue water ocean cruising in comfort and safety and built in La Rochelle France. Serenity was launched in 2018
About Serenity
Serenity is committed to sustainability. All waste is recycled, nothing inorganic goes overboard, solar panels reduce the need to use our generator and we make our own water.
Serenity leads the way in sailing technology and efficiency. All controls for sailing and navigation are accessible from the centrally positioned cockpit. The “Hardtop” configuration has a rigid shelter over the steering section, with a sliding extension that covers the entire cockpit area.
So whatever the conditions, all aboard can be comfortably protected from the elements and enjoy a dry, comfortable and shaded trip .
Beyond the cockpit Serenity’s broad design provides for ample deck space to enjoy the view, and the sun, even under sail.
Down Below
Whilst Serenity is impressive on deck, it is down below that will truly take your breath away.
Wood panelling throughout creates a warm opulent environment.
You will not be left wanting aboard Serenity. She has been appointed with every comfort to make your trip first class.
Water-making facilities, 2 refrigerators, freezer, generator, air conditioning, heating, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a lounge area complete with a large LED screen and Bose audio are just some of the features that make sailing on Serenity an absolute delight.
AccomModation
DAY SAILING
Serenity can comfortably accommodate 10 guests plus 2 crew for day sailing, board room meetings and other functions.
OVERNIGHT AND BEYOND
Longer charters and passage sailing are limited by the number of berths.
Serenity has 3 large cabins, one at the bow ( “the princess suite”) with its own ensuite bathroom plus 2 double cabins aft. One with a double bed and the other with 2 single berths that can also be converted into a double. These share the second ensuite bathroom. There is also a single “Captains berth” in the passageway.
So for overnight sailing accommodation is limited to 6 guests plus the skipper.
